Alan's Journey

Todays Meditation...

To every thing there is a season - and now is the season to thank God for answered prayers.Let us continue to pray for Alan - without ceasing. Every time he comes to your mind and heart lift up a prayer on his behalf - pray for the easing of his pain and for the healing of his body. Pray for Alan's family that they will rest when they can and get an extra measure of strength and courage when they need it.

Pray for yourselves as well - for your own journey of faith.

From the Old Testament - "The Lord is my strength, He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on to the high places.

"Peace and prayers to you all. --Genie

Alan sends out his love and his deep gratitude for your many thoughts and prayers. He is recovering and his pain while still great is much more manageable.

Let us continue to faithfully pray for Alan and his healing, for Ronnie, for Alan's family, for his doctors and nurses - for all who are caring for him.

Let us also lift up Juli and her daughter and granddaughter today as they are at Eggleston in Atlanta.

And from Psalm 62:5-8

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress. I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.

Peace and prayers, Genie
