Words from Alan

We are sitting on the screened porch (Alan, Johnny, Ronnie & Genie) enjoying the cool air and each others company. Alan is home and looking absolutely fabulous and he has some words for all of you.

Hallelujah - I am home! I want you all to know how much your love, your prayers and your compassion have taken me through this experience. Your support has given me the strength and courage I have needed to face my surgery and my continued recovery. I am ecstatic that I am home and enjoying the comforts of my house and my porch. I look forward to your visits and your posts to my blog. Someone will read them to me daily.

You are all great gifts to my life and I thank God for each of you and all that you mean to me.

With all my love,
Alan

P.S. If you have left a message on my cell phone I will be listening to them over the next few days and I will respond to them as I am able. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Alan,
Again you show us how to face life's largest obstacles and still smile, no laugh uproariously. You are too special for words.

Love always,
Jackie & Larry

I'm so glad you're back on the porch. I used to think it was a special place on its own, but then I realized it was you who made it special. I'm looking forward to sharing some good times with you very soon. -- Andy

Hey Alan,
I am glad to hear you are home. I am so thankful! I have kept up with you throughout your illness through Juli. I know she has been a huge help. She is a wonderful friend, I know that well. I want to share the following quote with you.
“A friend is a hand that is always holding yours, no matter how close or far apart you may be. A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care. A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.”
Take care.

So glad you're home! We've been thinking about you the past couple of weeks. We'll be over to see you shortly, but we're currently recovering from miserable colds, so it'll be a few days. Tell Ronnie "Hi" and we'll see you soon. Love Vickie and Kerry. xxx
